Important Information:

A claim must be reported within 30 days of the event/discovery.

Maintenance related claims – Wear & Tear is not covered.

Unauthorized towing will not be paid by the insurance company.

For Car Hire you will need to pay the deposit which will be refunded when the vehicle is returned as per the agreement.

In the case of theft/burglary, it must be reported to the police.

If a cellphone gets stolen or lost, we will need the blacklisting number as well.

If any other parties / their property are involved, it must also be reported to the police. Never admit guilt to a third party. Your insurer will follow the necessary legal process.

Your insurer reserves the right to repair/replace/pay out the insured item or a combination and that it will not exceed the sum insured.

Make sure you are familiar with your excess. If you are not sure what it is, feel free to contact us. Most of the time, an excess will be applicable unless it has been stated otherwise or additional cover was taken.

If you have a Geyser claim, you will also have to notify us if there are any resulting damages to the property.

In the event of a total loss of an item, please provide us with the replacement / new item information to place on the policy and thus enjoy the cover.
